Atheist Dies, Wakes Up in Heaven, As Angel Is Able to Help Those Left Behind

Jimmy Splendor is an atheist. When he wakes up in Heaven, he doesn’t believe he is dead, and he certainly doesn’t believe he is in Heaven. Greeted by his real-life father, whom he hated on Earth, Jimmy takes off running for seven years Earth time (only a few minutes in Heaven).
Jimmy finally meets an angel named Oleo who encourages him to help his widow, Noelle, who is still having severe nightmares all these years after Jimmy’s passing.
Jimmy and Oleo visit Noelle in her dreams and stimulate her to write a book about her life in order to purge her emotional baggage. Through the innovative method of written conversations with the angels of her loved ones, including her parents and her deceased husband, she learns to face life with courage and fortitude and to accept that the scars of a lifetime take time to heal, while the loves of a lifetime never fade.
“A veritable primer on ‘writing’ your way back to health and happiness. Audrey Levy goes beyond the concepts of Walsch’s Conversations with God books to present the world with a remarkably useful…while still entertaining…tool for life-altering change!”
Ms. Levy, a licensed marriage and family therapist and a screenwriter in California, was a finalist in both Steven Spielberg’s Chesterfield and Robert Redford’s Sundance competitions. Well known for her writings in such distinguished publications as the Los Angeles Times and The New West magazine, she has also done script work for such Hollywood luminaries as Sydney Pollack, Robert Redford, Ron Howard, Gary Marshall, Harold Ramis, Jonathan Demme and Chuck Russell. A graduate of Boston University and Antioch University, she lives in beautiful Marina del Rey on a houseboat with her happy dog, Kelly, who “smiles.”
